(500ml bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours lightly hazed bright gold with a decent white head and no lace. Notes of sour peaches and sweet and sour lemons, quite a hit of acidity but also a Meyer-type zest and pulp sweetness, touches of wine vinegar, quite a lot of wood with a maple-ish overtone, subtle spicebox, moderate funk, lots of wood and lemon zest in the drying, quite tart finish. Light to medium bodied and slick with smooth carbonation. Interesting, the wood definitely pops here and that might come from the Bench side to a degree, but there is a definite A La Fut vibe to the tart fruity core. Solid wild ale as expected.

(On tap @ Le Projet, Quebec City, Nov 11/19) Hazy pale orange pour with a small white head and lace. Aroma of peach, grapefruit, white grape, soft cereals, light funk. Flavour is mineral and crisp with unripe nectarine and white grape, light saison phenols, a touch of fruit skin, no real funk, bone dry soda water finish. Light to medium body and fairly soft carbonation. Not a patch on Burdock wine hybrids for complexity for me, but very drinkable.

(On tap @ Le Projet, Quebec City, Nov 11/19) Pours hazy pale orange with a small white head. Aroma of grain, green apple, wet grass, soft wood and Brett. Flavour is moderate sour with unripe stone fruit, grapefruit, cider vinegar, dusty Brett, a little lacto, wood towards the back. Medium bodied with average plus carbonation. Decent if a touch grainy. Not remotely like lambic, but I wasn't really expecting that. Quite drinkable overall.

(On tap @ Le Projet, Quebec City, Nov 11/19) Pours hazy pale orange with a white head and lace. Notes of tart green apple, physalis, light lactic lemon, some zesty herbal citrus peel and phenol character, soft cereals, moderate Brett, balance is light sweet and moderate acidic overall with a drying light lactic finish and oaky drydown. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Not as complex as the best of their wild ales, on the whole pretty light and easy to drink.
