Hazy yellow Gushed very aggressively. The aroma is intense. It smells very sour, almost medicinal. First taste, very good, then metallic orange and cheese and that continues in the middle and long finish with a little soy sauce copper taste. Very good mouthfeel. Just not sure about this one.

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light orange peel, Brett, light lactic notes, creamy and smooth. In mouth, a beautiful complex sweet fruity malt with light Brett, cork, curacao, oily mouth feel, alcohol warmth, very nice and complex yet quaffable. Bottle at La Cuvée d’été, 2015.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy bright golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with excellent retention and some pretty good lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with some lightly sweet malt notes and light funky notes. Taste is a nice mix between light tart notes with light funky ester with some light peppery yeast notes also perceptible. Body is about average with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Great level of complexity with great balance with super nice dry finish makes for an way too easy to drink beer.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity biscuit malt with light acidity, light Brett, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light lemon and orange pulp, light Brett, tropical fruit, very nice and smooth, refreshing summer offering. On tap at Saint Bock.

Bottle - Cherry and tons of nice cheesy funk. Hazy red copper with a decent white head. Tart cherry, light acidic and some nice funk. Maraschino cherry with the sour acid is very nice.

A dark reddish copper ale with a thin lacing creamy mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, light maple syrup, alcohol warmth, alcohol warmth, nice. In mouth, a sweet light licorice, caramel malt with fruity esters, light woody maple, alcohol warmth, a bit light bodied, nice. On tap at Saint Bock.

Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with notes of residual sugar and light fruity ester is quite pleasant. Taste is also dominated by sweet caramelized malt with some fruity ester and light residual notes of maple sugar. Body is below average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable for the style with great balance and good drinkability level.

Les houblons terreux sont facilement détectables à l’olfactif, malgré leur faible intensité. On y perçoit bien quelques accents sucrés mais en général l’olfactif ressort à peine. Quelques petites notes de levure...mais encore? Le visuel est brun, cuivré, légèrement voilé, coiffé d’une énorme mousse très dense et très persistante. Surprenante acidité en attaque. Les houblons terreux sont bien présents et se conjuguent avec force à l’acidité légèrement vinaigrée. On cherche les accents fruités...Pas de trace. On cherche le sirop d’érable...Faut vraiment se forcer les papilles pour le percevoir. Elle me fait plus l’impression d’une bière sauvage que d’une Dubbel. Mais dans les deux cas, elle est manquée. Pas désagréable...Juste inintéressante. Beau look seulement.

Canette 473ml. Couleur jaune paille voilée, mousse blanche nuageuse laissant une épaisse dentelle. Arôme de houblon résineux, agrumes, touche de malt, citron, floral, ananas. Goût de pomélo, houblon résineux, sèche, malt, pamplemousse blanc, amertume plutôt longue. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen-faible.

Bouteille 750ml. Couleur orange brûlé translucide, mousse beige présentant de grosses bulles et laissant une fine dentelle. Arôme de pain croûté, malt grillé, épices, girofle, diacétyle?. Goût d’épices, malt, girofle, astringente, légère amertume en fin de bouche. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen-faible.
