12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear red with a wisp of a head that persists. Aroma of dry apples followed by sweet cherries and a bit of earth. The taste is sweet cherries, tart cherries, tart apples. Faint vanilla. Medium bodied, lingering tartness.

350ml bottle from Hand Drawn Monkey, Huddersfield. Tastes like Kopparberg, but a little lighter and less syrupy.

350ml bottle from Hand Drawn Monkey, Huddersfield but first tasted in the Big Apple, so to speak. Seem to remember it tasting better over there. Pours clear to light yellow, taste is light with green apples, desert apples and a syrupy sweetness although not as full on as the likes of Bulmers. It’s an accessible, sweet blend but my tastebuds want something a bit rougher than this.

A pale blonde cider with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth apple sauce with light acidity, nice. In mouth, a nice crisp sour apple with pulp, mineral notes, nice. Bottle at Brooklyn Pour 2013.
