Location: Draft at Bierkraft, 9/8/12

Aroma: The nose is sweet and fruit, shockingly enough, mostly pear
Appearance: Pours a clear, pale greenish-yellow color with a small head and minimal lace
Flavor: The taste is really quite sweet, too sweet for my taste, all pear/cider, and sugar
Palate: This one has a light body, a cloying mouthfeel, and mid-heavy carbonation
Overall Impression: Overall, I'm glad I only had a couple ounces of the wife's. This one was way too sweet for me. On the other hand, she really enjoyed it.

$9 bottle from New Beer. Ommegang glass. Clear, still, white gold body. Sharp, tart, plastic-y nose. Watered down white table wine... seriously. Hay. Watermelon rind-like bitterness. Subtle carbonation. Inoffensive, but a big disappointment.

12 oz. bottle. Tastes like a mix of red delicious and granny smith. Very sweet with a significant tart bite and a little spice. The palate is light to medium, sticky and clean. Overall, this is more than just alcoholic apple juice. It is rather complex and interesting.
