Bottle split with Sharon, holiday cottage Honeybourne, from Chadbury Farm Shop 07/09/22. Clear golden with a moderate white cap. Nose is crisp apple, straw, apple skins, orchard wood. Taste comprises apple pie, orchard wood, tannins, straw, hedgerow, faint acidic spike. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying close. Solid.

Bottle split with Sharon and Roger in St Peters, from farm shop, 08/10/22. Clear golden, carbonation Well evident, fast collapsing white head. Nose is crisp apple, hint of caramel, residual sugars, apple core. Taste comprises ape pie, caramel, light tannins, straw, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough cider ... would have preferred slightly less sweetness.

ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, red apples, apple skin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, apple, red apples, apple skin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20191102]

Sample, thanks to Grumbo. Pours gold with a faint mist. Aroma of solvent, medium sweet perry pear syrup. Taste has a nice medium sweet perry pear character, tart alcohol on the close, solvent hints with some floral sweet notes. Decent characterful real perry.

Sample, thanks to our ever gracious leader Grumbo. Pours a misty golden amber. Aroma brings cheesy sweaty funk notes. Taste is has nice smooth textures, prominent fuzzy tannins, backed up with a barbed acidity, good fleshy fruity moments. Best of the bunch so far for me.

Sample, thanks to Grumbo! Pours clear gold, strong solvent coming through on the nose, sweet syrup. Taste is super sweet, sharp alcohol, solvent notes, but cradling all this is some pleasantly sweet perry fruit with soft underlying woody notes. Gentle carbonation. Decent once it settles on the palate.

Sample, thanks to Grumbo! Pours clear gold, aroma is quite bright, fruity, some coarse woody sour notes, barnyard funk. Taste presents a gentle carbonation, nice gentle tannins underpinning a good medium dry fruity character with a soft sour finish. Lovely characterful medium dry.
