[Polypin at the Chippenham beer festival] Deep gold - darker than most perries I’ve had. Vanilla aroma, vanilla in the flavour too along with pear juice and quite a lot of pepper. Really nice, mellow perry.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of chriso. Pours a hazy golden with a tiny, rough white head. Dry and tart apple aroma. Medium body, completely still, dry apple notes with a spicy cardamom edge - a little ginger too?. Dry and tart finish with a slight but never overpowering astringency making this pleasantly drinkable. 220511

Plastic cask, 6% at GBBF08 as Brook Farm Dry Still Perry. Hazy pale yellow colour. The aroma is a lot like cider, and the flavour too. Uncarbonated, a hint of wax flavour.
