Butelka. Niemalże czarne. Piana kremowa, jasnobeżowa, bardzo trwała. W aromacie intensywna czekolada mieszająca się z torfowymi bandażami i ewidentnymi nutami dymnymi. W tle wanilia i coś bardzo "słodkiego" (ale nie miód ani słodki karmel). Aromat bardzo przyjemny. Wyraźne odczucie gęstości. W smaku ciekawie, bo elementy, które mieszają się w aromacie następują kolejno po sobie: najpierw czuć słodką czekoladę, potem wchodzą nuty dymne i torfowe, delikatnie odsuwane przez tę słodką waniliowo-białoczekoladową ciastkowość. Niestety odczucie to kończy nieprzyjemny, zalegający posmak, który psuje cały efekt: jest jak łodygowa goryczka, nie pochodząca od chmielu, ale od wędzenia i to z takim drewnianym twistem. Ogólnie bardzo przyjemne, choć przez ten posmak nie ma efektu wow.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 31.12.2018. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, peat, leathery, light caramel, spices. nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, very oily mouthfeel. tastes of peat, green herbal notes, oxidation, leathery, some coffee, bit parfumy, milky, lactic, earthy, hints of caramel, lightly salty. finishes lightly sweet with notes of peat, coffee and some lactose. very nice oily / tense / lactic moutfheel. bit weird overall but not in a bad way. Peat is rather obvious but still somewhat balanced. Rather drinkable for a peated whisky porterish thing. I quite like it.
