0.3l tap. Unclear brown with a foamy head. Mostly toffee, caramel, some chocolate and dry citrus notes. Malty toffee sweetness, dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry roasty toffee sweet finish. Good Dunkel with a good depth that cannot be found in most Dunkel.

500 ml tap. Cloudy amber with a fluffy head. Estery, yeasty, clove, banana, dry citrus, bready, doughy. Mild dry bitterness, bready yeasty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry yeasty bready clovy finish. Good.

330 ml tap. Unclear amber with a small head. Grassy hops, lemon zest, vanilla, butter, some diacetyl, cookie dough. Hoppy bitterness, malty caramel sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily, lively carbonated, dry zesty malty hoppy bittersweet finish. A very tasty hoppy Maibock!

From a 5l tin growler. Unclear dark golden with a big foamy fluffy head. Very malty, grainy, buttery, biscuits, vanilla, zesty, diacetyl. Malty sweetness, dry zesty bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry grainy biscuity zesty bittersweet finish. The kind of beer I love: Rustic, complex, microbrewed, buttery with some diacetyl. A great Zwickel!
