Tap @ Brauhaus Sternen, Frauenfeld, after a quick early evening look around the city. Hazed deeper golden with a carbonation and a head. Has decent banana in both aroma and taste. This brew grew on me.

Tap @ Brauhaus Sternan, Frauenfeld, after a brief look at the cathedral towering over the city on the hill. Darker amber-brown with a haze. The honey is sweet but just about the perfect amount not to spoil, and it makes things quite smooth too. Not a brown ale in style how I am familiar with them, but a fine beer all the same.

Bottle courtesy of Koelschtrinker @4.6% . Pours a muddy amber, thin white head, circular retention. Aroma of toffee and earthy fruits like dates and figs. Taste is malty, semi-sweet, caramel, stone fruits, a lighter fruit hoppy note comes through slightly with a mild bitterness at the end but overall its quite dank and earthy. Body is light to moderate, average carbonation; could be better. I'm not loving this but I don't dislike it either. There are some interesting flavours but I don't think the beer works as a whole. .

Keg at Brauhaus Sternen, Frauenfeld. Cloudy golden, rich creamy head. Rich aroma of of orange and coriander. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Orange peels and marmelade. Low bitterness.

Keg (as Honey Brown Ale, 6%) at Brauhaus Sternen, Frauenfeld. Hazy nut brown, creamy head. Aroma of honey, caramel and maple syrup. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Honey and caramel. Low bitterness.
