Sampled @ BXL Beerfest 2018. A black beer with a small tan head. Aroma of liqourice, dark mild roasted strong malt, some coffee. Taste of strong sweet dark malt, liqourice, Cocoa, vanilla, chocolate, a bit sticky. Nice!

Black body, with a medium, creamy, lacing coffee-colored head.
Aroma of cocoa, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, soy sauce, some coffee.
Tastes pretty similar, with subtle booze
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium roasty, a bit sweet, dry, wooden, with cocoa powder, liquorice, coffee, some soy sauce, some coconut.
Really tasty. Rich and complex, while very smooth to drink. Great balance, with the right amount of roasty malts, the sweet adjuncts and a subtle alcohol warmth. Very characterful stuff.

Orange, juicy body, with a medium, fluffy, lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of pine, orange juice, wet grass, dankness, apricot, some tropical fruits.
Tastes quite similar, while with a lovely, smooth malt body of vanilla qnd biscuit.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes moderate warm, piney, zesty, grassy, a bit dank, a bit juicy, with orange, stone fruits.
Tasty. Quaffable and very fruity and juicy, while also with lovely, smooth malt notes in the taste. Not outstanding maybe, but really lovely nonetheless.

Bottle shared in the train thanks to sjogro. Almost black with short lasting dark beige head. Thick chocolate covered marshmallows, roast, sugary, vanilla, soft oats, light dead leaves. Very sweet and soft bitter. Almost full bodied. Lovely dessert stout.
