22 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Steve. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Spiced and slight soapy aroma. Sweet, roasted and spiced flavoured - cardemomme and ginger, light acidic roasted malt base. Ends dry and bitter with a lingering spiced.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours black with a vague tint of red and a frothy light brown head. Spicy aroma of ginger, cinnamon and cardamom. Medium body, hard roasted malts and vanilla with a load of spices. Burned, malt bitter finish. 231109

Bottle 22fl.oz.Clear dark black color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee, sour berry, lacto, ash - smoke, wood, bourbon. Flavor is light heavy sweet modrate to heavy acidic and bitter with a long duration, peppery. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090913]

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange, sour fruity / berry, cherry, like flemish sour. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration. Draft at Bistro’s BA Fest! Nose is oaky vanilla, light chocolate, and some bourbony sherry notes. Black with a medium cinnamon tan, glass lacing head. Flavor has a hint of bitterness, coffee, chocolate, light oak, and vanilla.

Draft at Bistro’s BA Fest! Nose is vanilla mixed with golden raisin fruitiness. Clear dark gold with a medium, glass lacing off white head. Flavor is oak, a light tart note, and more oakiness.

Draft at Bistro’s BA Fest! Nose is light brandy, oaky vanilla, light golden raisins, and some spiciness. Clear dark gold with a medium off white head. Flavor is very oaky with a apple eis-cider taste. Loved this stuff!

Draft at GABF. Nose of berries, toffee, and a brown sugary sweetness. Clear light brown with a small beige head. Flavor is prunes and toffee. Nice BW!

Draft at Bistro’s BA Fest! Thanks for th great beers Steve! Nose of toffee, light bourbon, caramel, and wheat toast. Clear brown with a medium tan head. Flavor is oaky vanilla and toffee. Alcohol is totally covered.
