Can from the LCBO. lightly hazy pale amber with a large slow fading white head leaving tight lace. Nose is orange peel, tropical fruit, light resin, light bread and some grass. Light sweet biscuity malt with a medium- citrus and pine bitterness in the middle that fades quickly. Mouth is medium- with average carbonation and a dry finish. Solid. 8-/4/7+/3+/15

Pours a clean golden-yellow colour with a big frothy-creamy warm cap, good retention and some foamy-creamy lace. Fresh hoppy nose with grassy notes, but then, some Belgian ale yeast sweetness comes out with fruity hints. The taste is hoppy as well, but not too bitter. Some nice dryness, but smooth all around. This is quite the easy-drinking IPA and I can see they they call it Gateway. Very nice !

Tap at Craft Beer Market, Toronto. A bit hazy yellow colour and small white head and lace. Light aroma has some herbal hoppyness. Light-bodied. Odd herbal-spicey hoppyness, cereals. Neh quite odd.

This sour poured a medium yellow colour with a big, bright white head. Not bad lacing. Scents include hops, hops and more hops. Smells like the IBUβs are about 220. Scents of spruce and a little citrus. First swig was not as bad as expected. Flavours of sour citrus, sweet cereal and fruit juice. Finish is slightly sour with a light hop bitterness lingering.

This lager poured a light amber colour with a off white, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include corn, bread and sweet malts. First swig was smooth with flavours of cereal, bread and leaves? Nice hop, very little bitterness and a nice finish of malty cereal.

Pours a hazy light golden-yellow colour with a frothy-foamy white cap, quickly going down, but some soapy lace and ring is left. Fresh herbal hop nose with hints of sweetness, like sugars. A bit of sourness in the taste with very light hops. Lots of tartiness, yeast lingering. Nicely blended, session dry-hopped sour brew.

So it's a session, so you expect a little thinness, but a lack of flavour would be a problem, but not with this. Bright lemony start with the citrus hops and mild sour tang beautifully married right up front. Then resin roughness with a little pine building as the beer linger. For a session very nice. Thanks!
