Not your typical tripel colour, with its cloudy caramel. Good yeasty nose, with malty sweetness. Taste also solid yeast ester, not a surprised from the Denison guys, mild fruity/sweet malt, mild bitter in the end. No super complex, but a solid tripel.

Bottle written "Huronic Tripel - Ships of Collingwood - 1st Launch" and with 9.5% ABV. Pours an amber-orange colour with a warm creamy head, decent stay and some nice creamy lace. Belgian Ale yeast with some spicy notes (hops), alcohol, fruity and bready malts. The taste is pretty fruity all-around with some bite from the hops. Not my kind of Tripel, as I love this style and this one is a little too hoppy and not enough balanced with the Belgian Ale yeast. Still, nothing too offensive.

Can from HogTownHarry. Thanks Harry. 4.7% abv Clear gold colour lasting white head. Smells like a lager no doubt. Good kellerbier style. Full in the malt. Good hop on the finish. It's balanced. Good hop. Rather good I thought. Excellent.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of wheat malt, banana, yeast and clove. Sweet fruity flavour of banana, lemon, yeast and wheat malt with light clove in the finish. Light body with a creamy, watery texture and soft carbonation. The body is a bit thin for the style but is still quite refreshing and tasty.

Canned, from LCBO, Ottawa. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Aroma of caramel and Earl Grey tea. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded. Very caramelly with lots of tea, some grapefruit. Mid bitter finish with some resin. Unrefined.

This pale ale poured a medium amber colour with a foamy, bright white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include light grass, bread and a little citrus. First swig has a slightly thin mouthfeel with medium/low carbonation and flavours of hay, toast and a little honey. Finish was hoppy and bitter with hay flavours lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slight hazy, light golden colour with a fizzy-foamy white cap, average stay and some decent lacing. Pilsner-like aromas with some cereal grains and mild citrus-grass notes. The taste is floral, almost perfumy and fruity over the malt. Crisp mouthfeel and quite refreshing. I really like this one for a lager. Would have again.
