Bottle. Slightly hazy golden color with white head that goes down quickly. Aroma is juicy hops, tropical fruits, blueberries, fermenting apples, some oak, vanilla, earthy. Taste is lots of Mosaic hops, touch of oak and vanilla, overrupe apples. Fizzy carbonation. Interesting!

Bottle. Hazy orangeish red color with white head. Aroma is quince, apples, grassy hops. Taste is rather intense quince, blackcurrant, just a touch of apples, ripe red apples, slightly tannic finish with just the right amount of tartness. Medium carbonation. Excellent!

Bottle. Slightly hazy pale yellow-ish color with white head. Aroma is ginger, quite ethereal, some apple funk as well. Taste is spicy ginger, mealy apple skin, earthy funk, only a bit of honey if you know it, but the hops are too overloaded by the ginger for me. Fizzy carbonation. Nice and refreshing nonetheless!

Bottled at SBWF. Hazy golden. Aroma of grapefruit and pears. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Winegums and pears. Mid bitter finish. Simplistic.

Bottle from Gulating, Brennåsen. Slightly cloudy pale golden body with a short lived white head. Aroma is basically fresh apples and American fruity hops. Flavor is medium sweet to dry apples and fruity hops. The apple flavor itself is pretty clean, no sign for cellar notes, wood or sulfide, the same goes for the hops – fruity aroma and no particular bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Quite refreshing, nothing is wrong, pure apple with citric fruity hops. On the other hand I seem to miss out some more complexity from the apple flavor, don’t know if this is hidden behind the hops or not. Maybe even adding hops to cider isn't such a great idea at all? Anyway, interesting enough to make me ant to try something more basic from this cider maker or at least one without hops.

Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, delt med skibsrederen omboed på Fridtjofen etter vellykket manøver: uklar strågul med filmskum. Nydelig aroma og frisk smak med deilige epler og julekrydder (kardemomme, muskat og kanel) og honningsødme. Julens flytende krydderkake!

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 16.08.17. Cloudy yellow. Fine aroma and taste of cider, ywllow apples, cinnamon and yule tide spices. Crisp and refreshing.

Flaske delt med skibsrederen, ombord på Fridtjofen etter endt malerøkt: lett uklar gylden med kort skum. Aroma av eplejuice sammen med et snev av humle. Smaken er også preget av eplejuice, med et aldri så lite humleinnslag. Frisk og lettdrikkelig med ennbehagelig eplesødme i avslutningen.
