Bottle @ the Great Best Wesern Las Cruces tasting of 2013 with yarn connoisseur, Rachel. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a pearl white head. Really rich pale grainy malty, big straw, quite herbal aroma. A touch sweet, a bit corny, rich straw, herbal/floral, somewhat spicy hoppy, straw flavor. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head and nice lacing. The aroma is caramel, rye, and sourdough bread. The flavor is bready sweetness, with a very faint bitterness through the middle. The palate is light to medium, and very smooth and creamy. Overall, this beer has an interesting flavor, but is very drinkable and finishes well.

Slightly hazy dull amber. Thin white head. The aroma is dull - mostly earthy and a bit mushroomy. Low bitterness and the sweetness is dull caramels. A very boring mid 90s interpretation of the style.
