Bottle, 4.8%. Strange bready/smoky aroma, not pleasant. Clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is bready at first, turns a little grainy. Standard cheap lager.

Bottle. Rotting vegetable and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Oddly sweet vegetable and barley malt flavor - luckily not as bad as the aroma. Not horrible - pretty unique but will probably pass unless I happen to be in Tanzania.

500ml bottle bought in Dar Es Salaam. This stuff has "premium quality" printed on the label but I’ll be damned if it didn’t smell like moldy socks. Head appears quickly and disapears just as fast, colour is your average cheap-looking golden hue. The flavour isn’t so bad though, like bread soaked in syrup, not much aftertaste or any big notice of alcohol which is a plus as this is marketed as a high-alc beer. Mouthfeel is nothing to write home about. Just a few extra points because it’s drinkable but it’s not Tanzania’s best beer by any means.

This is an average lager that smells of barley, some syrup, and alcohol. If poured aggressively it gives a nice head and has a decent gold colour. The flavour is a nice blend of hops & barley, with a dry finish, smooth taste & mouthfeel, but could be livelier. My preferred amongst the Tanzanian beers, but that’s not saying much.
