Bottle, at Håndverksølfestivalen. It's a black one, with a dark beige head leaving lacing. The aroma is roasted and burnt, with some notes of dried fruits, a faint hint of bonfire, and some dark chocolate and coconut. It's full-bodied, quite dry and nicely carbonated, with a flavor driven by dark malts. Roasted, lightly burnt and bonfire-ish, with dark chocolate, some coffee and dried fruits, and a pleasant coconut touch. Lasting finish. A very pleasant beer indeed, not much alcohol detected either, yet it failed to impress, hence the rather low score. 190608

Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, light nutty, light to moderate maple - strawberry, band-aid (smoke) notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, bourbon, maple, caramel, sweet malt, maple - strawberry, band-aid notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20210831]

Bottled, at AndySnow tasting. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Peaty smoke with salami and bread. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Peaty, meaty smoke and maple syrup, some caramel. Mildly warming finish.
