Bottle from Whole Foods. Murky, pale, chicken stock sort of body. Hearty. Fleeting half inch of whitewash head. Smells of honeydew, fresh cider, banana, & some out of place vinegar. Tastes like a mix of sparkling pear juice & a starchy American wheat ale. Gum, fresh apple cider, & more subtle vinegar in there. Vanilla finish. Yeah, I read the label, but something still seems iffy here. I guess I’ll just roll with it. I sort of liked it.

Can: Weak aroma, but with a nice funk note. Cloudy yellow, greenish hue, visible carbonation. Mouthfeel is fizzy. Green apple flavor, tart. Ther most tart I have had from a perry. Not terribly sweet.. Surprisingly strong and delightful marzipan finish, which really sets this perry apart.

From a can. This was surprisingly good. It is possible the dryest perry I have had. Clear appearance, and lots of yeast. Great flavor, this is real cider.

16 ounce can from Beer Run. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with no head. Aroma of tart, dry pears and earthy notes. The taste is dry pears, tart pears, earth notes, strawberries. Very tart finish. Medium bodied.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear golden color with a wisp of a large fizzy head. Aroma of fruity and floral pear notes, other fruits and faint graininess. The taste is fresh pears, tart pears apples, vanilla, tart finish. Medium bodied, fairly crisp. Nice perry.

Bottle. Sweet ripe floral pear aroma. Clear golden yellow. Sweet/tart pear flavor. Light body, light carbonation. Despite the commercial claim of not being made from pear concentrate, my bottle listed pear juice concentrate as one of the ingredients. I guess that must be the pear juice it was "smoothed’ with.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong apple and pear. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet fruit and nice crisp finish. A good perry from fox barrel.

12 oz. bottle. The aroma is distinctly pears, and the flavor is fruity and sweet, but subdued. The palate is crisp and bubbly, and just a little dry. Overall, this is a drinkable and pleasant cider.

Refrigerated 12 oz. 4.5% Pacific Pear bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours clear pale yellow very small white head that dissapates very fast. No lacing, medium body, very low carbonation, and light pear aroma. Taste is medium sweet pear. Best Perry I have had.
