Eines muss man dem Bier lassen: Es hat einen starken Hopfenkörper und ordentlich Wumms. An den Aromenregen muss man sich erst mal gewöhnen. Es verfügt auch über nette blumige Aromen, ABER es ist einfach viel zu bitter, als dass man es genießen und sich an den Aromen erfreuen kann. Sicher etwas für Freunde von sehr bitteren Bieren, die großen Wert auf Aromentiefe legen, aber als gemütliche Geschmackreise eher unpassend.

Bouteille 75cl, BB 12/2029, anno 2016. Dorée-ambrée, col fin blanc retombant rapidement. Arôme fin boisé, funk, impression de lambic - malté sur rétro d'effluves aigrelettes moyennes, nez de vieille cave. Palais est aigrelet plaisant, note prononcée de funk, aigreur tenace sans être trop prononcée, petite note de vin - Cabernet, léger en barrique, plus de funk avec un petit effet vinaigré. Une interprétation de lambic plutôt bien réalisée mais qui reste quand même sur un style plus américain - wild sour ale.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark.[ As Trois Dames Envoutée Cognac ].Unclear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, tart, aceton, berry, wood - oak - aceton - resin, alcohol - cognac, red fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, vinegar, tart, oak, berries, red fruit, barrel - oak, dry. RB backlog. Funky, hints of cheese, dill, and wooden notes somewhere between vanilla bourbon and earthy wood that goes to your head real quick. A dry start leads to amplified acidity, turning funky, tangy & briny, but leaving with a final bitter kick.
