Description
The Brasserie du Dauphiné is a Grenobloise company. The fruit of my passion for good beer, it is also the result of a dream: to bring the Dauphiné brewing tradition to life and to give Grenoble back its beer, after fifty years of absence.

Its commercial brand has long been Fabrique Mandrin, named after its unique beer brand until 2016. Then, with the creation of two new brands, beers from the Alps and Nobow beers, the commercial brand became Brasserie du Dauphiné .

0.75l bottle. Brown-amber clear body, off-white head. Huge beetroot aroma, earthy, some caramelly maltiness underneath. Lean taste, caramel, cereals, soapy notes, nutty, and slightly lighter beets than in the taste, bit creamy, mild bitterness at best, if that. I like the mouthfeel, the rest is, erm, a mild mess. Eh, dunno. Can finish it but cannot enjoy it much. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dauphiné Face Nord La Pointe Rousse on 24 Jan 2024 at 21:11 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 5.5. Bottled (from Saveur Biere). Slightly hazy amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is grainy, herbal, hayish and some slight earthy elements. Flavour is fruity, yeasty, some herbal, grassy and mild floral tones. Surprisingly yeasty in the flavour. Still a rather nice bitterness in the finish.

hazy golden to orange colour, medium sized dense ecru-ish head; aroma of pine resiny, watery rotten pineapple, some tangerine, grapefruity and biscuity notes; bittery-resiny taste with similar notes as can be felt in the aroma; not that good...
