Description
In the winter of 2016, the two Augsburgers, Enzo Frauenschuh and Matthias Gruber, founded FrauGruber Brewing (FRAUenschuh + GRUBER = FrauGruber) and brewed their first beers as Gipsy brewers in spring 2017 in the Old Factory in Gundelfingen. It quickly became clear that all the ideas, experiments and further developments would be very difficult to implement without an own brewery and the freedom that goes with it. In order to grow quantitatively and conceptually, FrauGruber had to grow. We managed to realize our dream of having our own brewery in January 2020. So we came to our goal of creating a kind of "way of life" and building a community with which we can share the enthusiasm and passion for beer. Our aim is to test and live the incredible variety of beer, to act sustainably and especially to give beer a higher value.

Can from Bier Freunde, Leipzig. Grainy fresh nose. The beer starts mild and fruity, grainy with hints of floralness. The grainy aroma is in the foreground, intense, a bit mouldy muddy. Smooth grainy aftertaste. Sessionable but nothing outstanding or special.

Can from Bier Freunde, Leipzig. Intense floral fresh nose - green hops with lemon and fruits. The beer starts intense sticky hopped. Sweetish pine and resin, peaches and lemon zest. Red grapefruits, but sweetish with grainy hints. Fresh fruity in the aftertaste, the beer has a moderate sweetness with yellow fruits, nice mild yeast and nice piney hints. Sweetish fruity mild IPA.

Can from Bier Freunde, Leipzig. Great intense dar roasted nose. The beer starts fresh roasted, very soft and smooth, great round. The espresso-coffee-flavour is mild and smooth, very dry. Smooth mild in the aftertaste, moderate bitter with lots of chocolate and roast. Nice one. Sessionable soft and deep in one.

Can at home, 16th March 17. Pours black slight lacing. Aroma is coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is coffee, milky chocolate, vanilla, sweet, some tangy bitterness. Nice

Keg at the tap house. Pours clear golden amber, nose is grapefruit, orange, toffee, taste is similar, sweet, juicy.

0,33l can at home courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks for this one. BB 13.10.2017. orange clear color, small white head. smells citric, lemon grass, bit parfumy, light berry notes, some pines, hints of caramel, passion fruit, mango. very nice juicy smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes very juicy, passion fruit, mango, light grapefruit, lemon grass, light caramel, lightly soapy, some pines, hints of dough. finishes very balanced with only a slight bitterness and notes of pines, passion fruit and lemon grass. very juicy beer, lovely exotic fruit notes, yet still very nicely drinkable. lovely stuff.

Orange with little white head. Aroma is aprictos, some peach, chalk flour. Taste is lots of apricots, bitter hops, and sweet fruity malt. Nice drinkability. Not bad.

Amber with big white head. Aroma is butter, grapefruit, crackers, apricots. Taste is cracker malt with butter. Medium bitterness and medium sweetness. Medium body. Nice.
