Cask at the Old Cheshire Cheese - Castleton. Pours clear gold with a thick, creamy white head. Leafy hop aroma, pale grains. Lightly sweet with notes of bitter grain husk, citrus rind, grassy astringency. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet finish, some cheap bread, leaves, rind, hay. So so.

Light brown colour with thin head. Fairly plain malty beer. Slightly nutty. A bit of a buttery texture.

Cask at Wet Led, Macclesfield (not yet listed in RateBeer). Also 3.8% as per pump clip, but seems to be same beer as previously recorded 9 years ago ! Pours a slightly hazy pale lemon yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Nose is just a vague hint of grains. In the mouth it is mainly sweet malts and grains but with some hints of citrus underneath. Finish is bitter and hoppy. A simple beer, but quite well done.

Cask at Crown, Stockport Pours a lemon yellow with a frothy white head and good lacing. Has a nice hoppy aroma with some citrus. In the mouth there is a nicely balanced mix of hops and lemons with a trace of lime also. The bitter finish is where the citrus hops really come through. A nice beer with plenty of bite, but not too much. [ Too palce to be a traditional IPA by the way ]
