Half, cask at The Market Porter, London Bridge. Deep naked surface, slightly unclear, dark amber content. Aroma of sweet fruity hops. Fresh fruity taste mixed with sweet malts and ending with discreet bitterness. Medium bodied (01.08.2009).

Half pint, cask in perfect condition, served at a fine drinking temperature and drunk upstairs at The Market Porter, London Bridge. Light sunset in body colour with a slight haze and a shinning surface. Floral aroma with discreet notes of hop resin. Has got a taste of earthy malts mixed with ripe dried fruits. Smooth bitter endnotes. Dry in the mouth. A quite decent start to a drinking week in London (01.08.2009).

Cask. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, fruityness, sweet malts, mild cooked vegetables as well as some herbal notes. Flavour is sweet malts and fruity as well as some floral hops. Mild wooden notes lurking.

Cask@Market Porter. Pale yellowish golden colour, white head. Aroma is vanilla, fruits, wood as well as some earthy notes. Flavour is mildly sour wooden, some fruity and floral hops as well as mild vanillaish and herbal notes.

Cask@Wenlocck Arms. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is wood, caramel, some earth. Flavour is quite much the same along with a flowery and grassy notes coming in as well. Semi-bitter finish.

Cask (handpump) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, and a peppery - ginger finish. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft. Cask, gravity dispense, Charlbury Beer Festival, Oxon 04-07-09 Pours gold, no head but some light bubbles rising to the surface in this beer. Some light malts and honey on nose but it’s really quite delicate. Taste is really honey, not sure whether this was just a bog standard honey used but it was nice and I’m sure that I got chestnut in there. There is a nice bitterness throughout, its got a decent sweetness and its dry at the end. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
