16oz can pours a murky ruby red zero head. Nose is starchy, fall fruits, some fruity rooibus tea. Flavor is all that. Not really an Irish red or an American Irish red but tasty enough anyway. 6 2 6 2 11

Pint pours a hazy hazy yellow with some white head. Nose has lemon and malt and salt and grass. Flavor is tart with lemon and some passion fruit, kumquat too, salty and briny. Finishes medium bodied with some tartness and salinity. Subdued in a style that's known to pucker. 7 3 7 3 12

Poured a clear light amber red color with a small white head. Aroma was tart red wine, light malt. Flavor was sour red wine with a sweet, smooth malt character. Bottle at the DC area socially distant Fall 2020 tasting.

Pint at the brewpub, pours a dark amber, nearing brown, creamy off white head. Nose is sour, rubbery, apple cider vinegar, crab apple, balsamic. Flavor has a ton of blood orange, balsamic, earthy notes, tobacco, some pencil eraser (you chewed them, you know what that means). Finishes tart, nearly full bodied, creamy. If your expecting an IPA, you won't be happy. But when you drink Blind Bat, this falls squarely within their portfolio. Funky. 7 4 7 3 13

At a mini-RB gathering in November. Poured a very slightly hazy yellowish color, darker hue. Very small, almost wispy head. Aroma was wheat, a little bit of coriander. Sweet malt. A little bit of earthy notes.
