cloudy brown, no head. nutty, caramelly aroma. quite atypical of the meads i’ve tasted so far.also some spices. flavor is pretty strong spicy, faint honey, faint citrussy note. Also some bitter caramel, and some sweet caramel.

sweet spicy honey aroma. faint boozy. flavor is very strong, nicely citrussy, honey, low but present bitterness. tastes real good for a mead.

Bottle. Dark yellow not very nice colour. Moderate vinius flowery aroma. Havtorn very present. Round wellbalanced havtorn flavor. Creamy palate. Very special nice mead.

Bottle. From Helsekosten Nygade Silkeborg. Heavy vinius aroma. Powerfull moderate sweet and spicey and nutty flavor. Long great finish. Light licorice notes. Good mead.

I feel the need, the need for mead. Lovely sweet nougat and slight hint of green apple on aroma. Very decent raisin. A bit like a good solara sherry. I mean I just really like mead.

Bottle 25cl. @ home.[ Courtesy of Papsoe ]. Clear medium amber color with virtually none head. Aroma is sweet and spicy, honey, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish is moderate alcoholic. [20090501]

a true viking knows when he must deal the final blow. this mead was rated mostly bc it would take me to #12 raters of the year, and i guess if a great divide hercules couldn’t do the trick, a tor’s hammer ought to work. clear amber, no head whatsoever. aroma is boozy, mild dark fruits, honey, acidicy. flavor is honey sweet, black berry, citrussy note, faint spicy. this mead tastes good. yea!. damn.
