Can from the brewery. Golden body with a faint haze. Lively carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and vine tomatoes. Flavour of pink grapefruit and soft malt. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. This is excellent - softer and juicier than the classic Schofferhofer.

Can from Lidl. It pours crystal clear copper - am er with a lasting white head. The aroma is big grapefruit hit, zingy, tangy, sappy, oily, resinous and piney. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing spiky bitterness, touch green, piney, pithy, zesty, bigger citrus peel, grapefruit, pomelo, peppery spice, nip of alcohol and some resin with a lingering bitter, citrus finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough west coaster. Good value also.
