Can from Aldi. Now 5.0%. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit and grapefruit. Taste is more of the same. Light bitter finish.

Hand pulled pint in my local Spoons on 5th June 2025. Copper coloured (name gives that away), off white head. Malty front with a decent hop bill, I suspect Cascade, again the name gives that away.

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, liquorice, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a somewhat light, roasty, earthy, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Didn’t really get much chocolate in the taste, but there was some evidence in the aroma. Somewhat disappointing given the name of the beer.

Rraught keg at the Raven, Glasgow. Pours amber/red and hazy with a small uneven ring of pinkish/beige head and uneven lacing. Light raspberry aroma but not kuch here. Sweet taste with a little but of sourness in the finish. More berry on the tongue in the aftertaste. Light body with good carbonation. Pretty good, not really remarkable but does the job.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours reddish people with a pink-tinged head. Aromas of sour red fruit. Taste has a big sour hit upfront, but once adjusted to has lots of raspberry and strawberry. Light sour finish.
