Description
Labatt has deep roots in Canada stemming from its founder John Kinder. In 1847, a little more than a decade after arriving in London, Ontario from Ireland, John Kinder Labatt purchased London's Simcoe Street brewery in partnership with Samuel Eccles and by 1855 had become the brewery's sole proprietor. The brewery was later renamed John Labatt's Brewery, marking the beginning of one of Canada's largest and most successful companies.

In 1995, it was purchased by Belgian brewer Interbrew. Labatt is now part of the new company, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev).

473ml can. Pours a clear yellow gold with a small, creamy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Aroma of grainy pale malt and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, caramel malt and spicy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average to soft carbonation. Not terrible, just boring.

473mL can, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of buttered popcorn, vegetal notes, and bready notes. Flavour is full of hot buttered popcorn, vegetal notes, and gross, cheap corn. This is garbage.

Pale, bright. Not much head. Hot buttered corn, grassy, low bitterness. Okay, I've had it. Ok, that's a tick. It's literally not worth a letterkenny reference.

Pours dark, w/moderate head. Aroma is cafe, it’s not bad but needs more complexity IMO.
