Sampled at Brassigaume 2019. A hazy deep golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of mild sweet strong pale malt, yeast. Taste of caramelized malt, biscuit, dry grainy malt. Okay!

Probably the best to come out of either of the collaborating breweries! (Although I love IIPAs, so slightly biased)

Dark beige head, regular and rather stable over redbrown highlighted black beer. Coffee, chocolate & wood in the nose; later (warm) dark brown bread with chocolate spread, nutty, roast. Bitterish-roast, hint at alcohol in the finish. Again coffee (of course), Ersatz coffee, chocolate, roasted nuts and brown bread. Reasonably full-bodied, slick but to fluid to be chewy. Good carbonation, long lasting roasted flavours. Quite decent, nothing innovative. Then again, innovation is a problem for car manufacturers, no? Txs to Louis!

Nice. Malty, roasty, choc, ovaltine. As you’d expect.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to NewKen! Pours brown with a foamy tan head. Has moderate sweetness, strong roast character, earth, charred sugars, ash. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming finish. Not bad.

20/09/2019 - draught glass @Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Dark brown, beige head. Nose is dark malts, roast, coffee, caramel. Taste is roast, coffee, bit caramel, nice coffee ending, should've been creamier.

Tap @ Gist. Dorée-paille, col blanc épais. Arôme au nez plaisant, fleuri noble, qcq grains, rétro malt pils assez belge et classique. Palais est léger fleuri rappelant qcq bourgeons - le tout un peu noble presque Saaz/Halertau avec un caractère un peu sureau. Petit sécheresse de fin de bouche. Effervescence moyenne, herbacé au fini.
