Bottle shared with Eugene. Thnx! Pours unclear, warm amber. Big white head. Smell is weird, bit yeasty. Taste is rather bitter. Mild yeasty, some sidenores I can’t really name ( probably wasabi ? )

Bottle at home. Pours extremely foamy. Either a trained eye, or a patient person can spot a clear blonde beer underneath. Smell is extremely spiced. Taste is sharp, rather bitter, very plastic underneath, some dryness... Very mild dyacethyl, or just a weird taste combo? mild, very mild spiced aftertaste. Whilst beerstorming never brews ’extremes’ ( Dipa, Impy, sours, ... ) one might think it’s all about balance ( as like others (good ) breweries in Belgium. Yet, lately, many of their beers are overspiced and simply not so good... a few winners in between a lot of unnessesary beers

Joint purchase. 500 ml. bottle split with Kraddel. Beerstorming first batch version. Deep hazy orange, off-white head. Nose is weird dusty stale kitchen spices, old tea, rotting cleaning products,... Taste is rotting grain, soap, grain, overly big on sweet awful perfume, pear syrup candy,... Extremely fizzy perfume body,... Very poor, hope the big batch version is not this poor. Kraddel & me managed to score some really bad Beerstorming bottles at this tasting.

Joint purchase. 500 ml. bottle split with Kraddel. Hazy orange, creamy off-white head. Nose is very poor soap, plastic, rotting grain metallic, lows of standard Beerstorming base,... Far too carbonated, tastes like over-carbonated hand soap, grain, plastic, fizzy, spoiled fruit,... Poor base beer, spices working adversely,... Very poor all around.

Joint purchase. 500 ml. bottle split with Kraddel. Not even listed on their website, this one is truly atrocious. Extremely huge layer of yeast visible at the bottom of the bottle. HUGE GUSHER, first one for Beerstorming. Looks like ditch water, mud blended with yeast, beyond murky, horrendous looking with deep tanned head. It is one of the worst smelling things I have ever encountered, smells like spoiled food that has been rotting for a long time,... It is really awful, chemicals maybe & murky yeast as well,... Taste is awful, not quite as awful as the smell but it doesn’t mater by this point, its truly awful,... Tastes like mud with extremely thick rotting yeast, ditch watery, rotting weeds, spoiled food, maybe some sweet banana pure in the back but it is nearly all obscured,... Finish is awful chemical bitterness,... Leaves a horrible aftertaste of mud & rotting muddy yeast in your mouth,.... Body is all ditch water, mud blended with yeast,... Absolute rock bottom beer. Absolute garbage. This is everything that a beer should not be.

Draft glass @ brewery. Deep hazy amber, big creamy lightly tanned head. Nose is very sweet, sugar, weird big sweet stone fruit sugar, caramel, jam,... Taste is big on sweet candy, sugar, overly sweet sugar, candy, stone fruit jam,... Body is very sweet sugar, soap,... Passable for a very sweet sugary brew but I am disappointed about getting zero estragon which I adore.

Draft glass @ brewery. Deep hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is big on fennel, nice actually with big bergamot, spice is good quality but the base is poor. Base dominates as far the taste goes, quality spices from the nose are largely lost,... Taste is some nice fennel upfront, less bergamot than in the smell, leads quickly into the base, rotting tangerine mandarin, overly soap, rotting berries, poor Beerstorming base, soap, chemical,... Body is spoiled sweet stone fruit base,...

Purs very dark, rather clear amber. OK white head. Smell is very spiced, touch fresh, touch sweet, touch bitter. very complex. I’d almost say cardamon notes as well, even though it’s not on the ingredients list. Taste is complex, and very strange. At first, the beer comes across rather easy drinkin (trough the mouthfeel, not too much carbo, and not too thick ) you get a very mild bitterness, than some spices, a bit peppery - like cardamon . No heat-peppers like the one’s I had imagined, but more like kitchen-black-pepper style. Don’t really get the smokes - which is a good thing for me, accept for the fact it puts another layer of complexity in the beer. even though there’s a lot of characters I don’t like in this specific beer, I can’t say i’m not enjoying this. Could have used more maltyness though.
