Bottle at the New Gentry Brewhouse, Hanoi. Poured a hazy dark brown with a bubbly round head and little life. The aroma is sweet malts, red berry fruits, raisins, some molasses. The flavour is moderate sweet with sweet sugary fruity malt, almost lifeless palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. Way too sweet and with no carbonation. Back to the drawing board with this one I think.

On tap at Chops, pours a cloudy opaque golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out fairly subdued lemongrass upfront, with a touch of citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus and light lemongrass. Wish there was more lemongrass here and vibrancy in general. A bit dull.

On tap at Chops, pours a hazy golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out crisp crackery malt, light grass and a hint of citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp biscuity malt and light citrus. Doesn't seem like a Czech pilsner to me, but it's clean and refreshing. Decent.

330mL bottle at Le Pub, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out fairly restrained smokiness and toasted bready malt. Flavour brings out ashtray smoke, light campfire and light toasted biscuity malt. Ashtray-like smoke, not the good kind. This needs serious tweaking.
