I’ve been meaning to try this... Nara Brewing Microcosmos Session IPA 3.5% Opaque/matte full brassy gold with a white film of foam and a lime, melon hop bouquet with light Soda bread malt notes. Light bodied and clean. The taste adds honey elements to the aroma, quite flavorful. Tap at BAK Umekita

Nara Brewing 8-Bit 8.6% 25 IBU It’s a deep ruby brown with a dense tan head and fruitcake featuring figs and sticky toffee/caramel aroma. Full bodied with slippery smooth and just a hint of warmth in the finish. Lots of bready sweet caramel and sticky candies fruit for a luscious tasty treat. Great.

Pleasantly wheaty and creamy. Nice citrus, but herbal. Very easy going.

375 ml bottle by mail order. wheaty nose, citrus, light coriander. Mostly biscuity wheat and phenolic yeast. Bright, glowing pastel golden orange with a low, lacy head. Rich wheat malt flavor, very biscuity, light citrus, light spice, mostly very malty. Tasty stuff for a style I have basically grown sick of. Full and smooth body, not cloying or overly sweet.

75 cl bottle, mail order. Looking forward to this one. Slightly hazy brilliant gold with an enormous rocky, fluffy head. Every effervescent. A bit too much--hard to pour, but beautiful. zesty citrus hop nose, creamy wheat, biscuits, honey, orange, spicy phenolics. Bright and brilliant Styrian Goldings. Lovely malt, honey and bread, citrus, herbs, spices. Crisp, effervescent, snappy. Like halfway between a regular Dupont and a Bon V. Really wonderful. Not sure how it differs from Fleming, but this is wonderful.

Crowler-type can mail order. Big, bright hop nose. Herbal, lemony, spicy, with bready clean malt and spicy Belgian saison yeast. Bright, clear golden color with a high, rocky head. Crisp, hoppy, zest flavor. Light, clean, crackery malt, touch of honey, lemon, grapefruit, peppery spices. Nara is nailing these saisons lately. this definitely shows New World hops, although they are used in more of an old world way. Very hoppy but not crazy. Very high drinkability. Crisp, clean body. love it.

Nara Brewing Nuts and Milk English Brown Ale w/ Hazelnuts 4% IBU 12 Russet reddish brown with a big sweet hazelnut aroma. The medium body is very sweet, kind of too sweet for me - yep lactose. I need to wonder what it would’ve been like without lactose. I’m guessing the nuts would be lost.

Bottle, about 10 months old. Lovely gold with a huge head. Great fruity nose, citrus, tropical fruits, citrus and herbal hops, bretty mustiness. Wow. Great nose. Rich, fruity flavor. Dry but subtle fruitiness, tropical, passion, papaya, lemon. Great effervescent body. Love it. Much more evolved and developed than when I had it 9 months ago.

slightly cloudy straw, beautiful rocky head. Orange, apples, hay, funky Belgian yeast. Medium full body, medium bitterness, dry, slightly boozy, but so well balanced and great depth you just have to love it.
