Tap in Kanazawa. Bright gold, cloudy, medium head. Citra nose, lemon and orange, with wheat and phenols, cloves. Hop adds some resiny character as well as citrus. Nice, not perfectly balanced.

Pale blue with a large head. Blueberry really comes out nicely, as do the clove, wheat, and banana from the base weizen. Nice blueberry flavor as well, slightly tart, a bit sweet, very nice combination.

Tap at Kanazawa. Hazy golden to amber, medium head. Nose is tart apples, lemon, light clove, light banana. Apple flavor is light, slightly tart, nose overwhelming, with the weizen character remaining underneath. Lovely stuff.

Smells a bit farty. Maybe the banana part of the Weizen. No blueberry really, apart from the colour. It’s ok, but I’m disappointed

On tap at Popeye, pours a clear copper amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out smoked meat, bready malt and a little campfire smoke. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of campfire smoke, smoked meat, and some bready toffee. Really nicely constructed, with a great smoked character. Very good.
