Slightly sweet with cereal malt, honey and grassy hops note. Medium bitterness. Well balanced clean and super quaffable. Excellent baseball game beer.

Dull pale brown color. Beautiful nose of smoked meat and smoked cheese, slight tartness. Rich smokiness, palate is clean but not as balanced as could be. Super drinkable. Great example of the style. One of the better rauches in Japan

dark brown color. Amazing nose of salt, licorice, dark chocolate bourbon and oak. Plum Very dry for 13%. Tons of brownies of dark frui. Palate is relatively light body excellent oak, salty, dark fruit . So nice.

cloudy golden color. Very clean minerally nose with more citrusy character than I would expect for the style with fresh squeezed tangerines being very prominent. The palate is super dry but much fruity and not as well balanced as I expected. Usually better

pitch black color, no head. dark fruit, molasses, dark chocolate, treacles, red wine character. Low carbonation low medium bitter, salt, molasses, caramel. Smooth. Excellent depth. Alcohol well hidden. Superb.

Tat at the Kannai pub. Bright gold, clear, with a tall head. Floral, leafy, grassy, herbal aroma, citrus fruits and clean crisp malts. Flavor is also floral and herbal, but more grassy, a bit too much maybe, still very tasty. Crisp and light and highly drinkable. Like it.

Tap at the Kannai Pub. Clear, bright gold, high head. Nose is sweet, malty, rice and light butter with some citrusy hops. Flavor is sweet and grainy, touch of butter, creamy. Soft, creamy body. A bit too sweet and heavy for the style.
