Courtesy of a friend. Yokohama BA Imperiak stout 13% Deep cola black with Ruby highlights and a fast dissipating beige foam. Sweet maple whiskey type aroma, full lusciously smooth body. Big sweet malts featuring maple and chocolate syrup before the sharp oaky whiskey notes kick in. A hit with my brother in law. Nice stuff, good example of the style.

Bit weird. Not very pils like. Maybe get some kind of feel of that further down with a big gulp. Is it weird fruity hops that’s making it a bit unusual maybe? Quite nice though.

Tap at Oedo Festival. Cloudy pale gold. Big clove, banana, orange. Very sweet and fruity, phenolic. Decent but somewhat one-dimensional.

Tap at Oedo Festival. Bright gold. Grassy, herbal hop nose. Bright, light, crisp. No diacetyl. Clean and good, though a step behind his German pils imo.
