Tap at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a murky light brown colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big spicy lemongrass. The flavour is full-on lemongrass with a crisp spicy lemongrass palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not sure what the brewer intent was here, but the lemongrass is way too overpowering all the way through this beer.

Tap at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light hop. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a light, watery, grainy biscuit malt, super light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Billed as a pale ale by the brewer but lacks the hops to be a traditional pale ale. Tastes a little like home brew.

The flavour is alcoholic bitter, witn a light dry oaky, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. This one doesn’t really work. Tap at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is spicy ginger. The flavour is ginger and there is ginger in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It’s ok in small quantities but I can’t imagine anyone drinking a pint of this.
