Can. Dram Shop. Mostly clear deep orange amber. Slim dense super sticky white foam. Looks boss. Nose has soft savoury smoke. Definitely cherry wood comes through. Some fruity hop. All on top of a Belgo yeast character. Really smooth overall with a good balanced bittersweet feel. Light smoke and light dry finish. Ridiculous easy drinking. Probably this brewers best beer yet in my humble opinion.

Can. Dram Shop. Clear dark cola brown. Bubbly, shiny beige head stays the course. Nose has ashy roast malts. Whiff of dark roast coffee. Earthy, hedgerow berry hop. Taste is high on the earthy bitterness with barely any let up. Tasty gear as a result. Big bitter finish. Nice stout although it’s a tad too fizzy for a Bobby Smashable.

Can. Dram Shop Sheffield. Quite a dark almost amber gold. Thick fairy loose but lasting off white foam. Hmm. Nose has semi sweet biscuit malt. Nice herbal hop character. Bit of sweet mint. Some ripe citrus. Taste has a tad of sweetness up front with a decent ripening bitterness. Decent body. Moderate bitterness to finish. Decent pow wow.

CBJ Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan the man for the can. Clear deep amber beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, a decent toffee caramel and cream, if a tad thin. Floral ripe fruits, quite light. Mild spice, not overly done. Modest marmalade. Semi dry crisp finish. Interesting but for me, never engages the heart.

Gravity pour at Steel City Beer Festival 2024, Kelham Island - Clear brown body, no head. Coffee, burnt toast, dark chocolate, roast nuts. Looks rough, a bit dull in comparison to most from Emmanuales.

Can. Turner’s Sheffield. Clear cola brown. Slim beige foam. Not especially a looker. Nose has light coffee malts. A bit burnt and ashy. Light Belgo shizzle. Taste has a fleeting sweetness but is mostly dry ashy and slightly bitter. Thin overall. Watery dry ashy finish with some burnt bitterness to boot. Hmm.

Can. Turner’s Sheffield. Faint haze on a medium gold. Slim white head lasts well. Sweet malts err on the caramel and toffee side. Bit of Belgian yeast shizzle. Taste is pretty sweet overall. Quite a slick mouthfeel. Bit of bitterness to finish. It’s not bad but it is very basic. This lad can do way better with this style.

Can poured and shared in Green Goddess, Blackheath - expected a gusher, didn't get it. Off hazy gold, thin white top. Yeasty forward, sweetish, lots of grainy goodness.
