Can. Dram Shop. Clear pale gold. Slim lasting semi lacing white foam. Nose has saison yeast. Bready malts. Some grass mulch hoppage. Itโs all present and correct. Taste is pretty sweet, with some hop bitterness. Drinks fine at the 6.8. Maybe a little heavy. Light bitter finish. Solid enough standard Belgian affair.

Can. Dram Shop. Very hazy, verging on muddy, dark gingery gold. Slick sticky lasting and leggy glossy white foam. Looks good. Nose has rich sticky malts. Spicy rye is well evident. Hops are similarly sticky with notes of sappy pine and well overripe citrus fruit and stone fruit. Old school US IPA shelf turding away on a warm bottle shop shelf comes to mind. And I actually donโt mean that negatively. Taste is rich sweetness with an almost instant sappy fruity bitterness. Sits well overall although itโs better well chilled than anything less. Bitter finish goes on a good while after the sweetness has subsided. I like this brewer. He rarely plays it safe and when he nails one itโs pretty good.

Can. Dram Shop. Mostly clear deep orange amber. Slim dense super sticky white foam. Looks boss. Nose has soft savoury smoke. Definitely cherry wood comes through. Some fruity hop. All on top of a Belgo yeast character. Really smooth overall with a good balanced bittersweet feel. Light smoke and light dry finish. Ridiculous easy drinking. Probably this brewers best beer yet in my humble opinion.

Can. Dram Shop. Clear dark cola brown. Bubbly, shiny beige head stays the course. Nose has ashy roast malts. Whiff of dark roast coffee. Earthy, hedgerow berry hop. Taste is high on the earthy bitterness with barely any let up. Tasty gear as a result. Big bitter finish. Nice stout although itโs a tad too fizzy for a Bobby Smashable.

Can. Dram Shop Sheffield. Quite a dark almost amber gold. Thick fairy loose but lasting off white foam. Hmm. Nose has semi sweet biscuit malt. Nice herbal hop character. Bit of sweet mint. Some ripe citrus. Taste has a tad of sweetness up front with a decent ripening bitterness. Decent body. Moderate bitterness to finish. Decent pow wow.

CBJ Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan the man for the can. Clear deep amber beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, a decent toffee caramel and cream, if a tad thin. Floral ripe fruits, quite light. Mild spice, not overly done. Modest marmalade. Semi dry crisp finish. Interesting but for me, never engages the heart.
