22 oz bomber purchased at Antlers in Frisco, Colorado. Best before N 10 marked on the bottle. Pour is a hazed brown black with a light tan two inch head. Aroma is mild roast, muted pine and a big soda mineral element. Taste is the nose, nice balance between mild roast and dry mineral with a hint of floral pine hop. Palate is medium to thin, crisp, dry and drinkable. Nice enough.

Bottle thanks to popkas. Poured a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a clear musty pine note with a bit of underlying hay. Flavor had the same musty pine note that was a little off putting with a slight grain finish.

22 oz. bomber purchased at the Liquor store on Summit Drive in Frisco, Colorado (Antler’s). Pour is dark golden, copper with a two inch well formed white head. Head is quite lasting, and falls with nice lace. Aroma was immediate bitterness of pine and floral, though the hop is a bit muted, and is melded nicely with a caramel toasted malt. Nice balance for an IPA, reminds me of more of a British IPA. Taste is the nose, though a bit less clean - balance of caramel toasted malt, along with the pine and floral hops. Finish is dry and bitter. Palate is medium bodied, a bit oily, and a nice bitter after taste. Nice enough.

Relatively bright amber colour. Slightly piney, passionfruity with popcorn malt character. Slightly faded hops...oxidation gets a little metallic.

Bottle. The beer has an orangish tint, but it's a nice cloudy wheat beer with a large white head - it does disapear quicker than normal. Strong aroma of yeast and citrus (lemon/orange). Very light bodied, almost watery with a sweetness that leads to an acidic finish that isn't quite right. Easy to drink a lot quickly, but the flavor isn't what I'm looking for in a beer.

Although this wasn't an outstanding brew, it's hard to make a Porter that is totally bad. This just needs a little more body & mouthfeel to suit me. The aromas were good and clean but could have been more at the front. The ratings perhaps suggest some variability batch to batch or a good beer that has a shorter peak on the shelf.

Bottle. Nice amber color with almost no head, but it has a great citrus/pine hop aroma. You'd think there would be more hops in the flavor. It starts out fairly mild condiering it's an IPA with a great aroma, then gives way to a malt back bone with lingering bitter hops that then fades quickly. A bit watery. Flavor has some caramel, pine tar, citrus, but it doesn't last long enough.

Bottle. A great amber color with very little head. Almost no aroma, but it's there - a very faint sweet malty one. I'm sure the bottle was bad - the flavor is definately off - very acidic, astringent, watery. I had to spit out the first sip and dared to go back for another. I'll rerate iof I have this again and its any better. I just can't believe it was meant to be this bad
