Not entirely bad, especially for style. Pours clear orange with fuzzy head. Aroma of light hops, crisp malt. Finishes slightly malt sweet, some sourness. Bottle.

(23 avril 2013)

This Pale ale poured a medium amber colour with a big, frothy, very light tan head. To the nose there are scents of bread, grassy hops and cream. First sip had a deliciously creamy mouthfeel with flavours of caramel and grassy hops. Finish was lightly bitter with hay flavours lingering.

Why does the oldest "original" pale ale in BC have to taste so bad? Had a good many pitchers of this back in the day in Vancouver and remember thinking it was better than Molson at least, and it was. But that’s pretty much it. Pours amber-like, smells like trashy malt. Taste is astringent. Not sure if it’s hops or chemico-hops. Trying their hardest to be macro. Bottle.

On tap. Pours a cloudy yellow/brown with little head. Slight ripe peach aroma. Definite apricot/peach flavor. A weak fruit juice with alcohol. But pleasant enough when really cold.

On tap. Pours dark brown with light white head. Very light aromas of toasted malt. Smooth and easily drinkable but not much flavor other than a bit of malt.

Draught at Hops, New Westminster
Cloudy blond color. Aroma of apricot scent, candies and sugar. Dry and weak mouthfeel, poor beer, with no character, and just a dash of artificial candy fruit flavor.
Bad.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, not much of the apricot, and not much else. Flavour is dry, with wheat, subtle dry lemon peel and maybe a hint of apricot. Subtle and drinkable. Decent.
