From Amstein, St-Légier. Perfect yesterday night, at the balcony. A right and fair ipa, interesting, brewed rather on the American way, really smooth, malty, some sweetness, toffee, a bit burnt, resinous and pine tree note, citrus, 20.08.23, at Epalinges

Bottle from the LCBO. Jet black pour, with a medium brown head. Aroma is very roasty, lots of cocoa powder, milk chocolate, and some dark coffee. mouth feel is creamy, and the carb is satisfying. Low to medium bitterness, semi sweet, cocoa fades, and the coffee comes to the forefront with the roast.

440ml can. Dark clear gold, thin white head. Aroma of biscuit, citrus, stone fruits, boiled veg water. Its quite thin with a surprising low carbonation. Citrus, fruit salad, biscuit, boiled veg; tastes ok. Its refreshing but not great overall.

440ml can. Clear dark gold/light amber, small fizzy white head, minimal retention. Powerful aroma of banana sweets and bubblegum. Taste is the same, cherry comes through a bit more, quite artificial and sweet with a dry bitterness. Light to medium bodied. It is what it is, and what it is is a mediocre fun gimmicky beer.

6.0% Cask handpull at Commercial Rooms JDW Bristol. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Some citrus fruits. Is this a NEIPA or just a straight citrus ipa? Not sure. Tasty enough. Good orange and grapefruit flavour light bitterness on the finish. Decent solid.
