Keg, 9/2/16. Clear copper, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, caramel malt. The taste is pine, resin, caramel. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Having this beer when it’s a little old and the coffee characteristics suffer from it. Aroma is good but no coffee. Flavor has the coffee showing up but not so much like fresh coffee.. Body is good though personally I would have preferred it a bit softer from the crisp carbonation.

Seems to be kind of a German American style. Pale yellow, clear, small head, very little lace. Aroma is wet grain. Flavor’s bittersweet, well carbonated. Serviceable.

Tap at Sidedoor. Tastes like what it is: a mess. Really slick and sweet, tastes like and extract bomb to me, no mistaking that slick DME blandness. No depth for the ABV. Fail. Roasty black malt. Amateur Black Saison. Double meh.

Tap at Sidedoor. Amber-brown body. Thnnish off-white head. The barrel tones are pretty weak. Maybe a little more depth than the original, but the overall pretty mundane.

Tap at Sidedoor. Pretty solid, bready Pils. Decent lager notes. Not my favorite example, but respectable, no off tones. Good.

Bottle. Pours deep black, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma of coffee, roasty malt, anise. Flavor is light sweet, CV light bitter, mega coffee, roasty. Lingering bitterness, bit of ashtray. Medium body.
