16oz (thx, Josh!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: roasted malt and seeds, vanilla. Taste: along the same lines, a lot of roasted malts, some smokiness, and earthiness coming probably from cocoa nibs. Surprisingly not very bitter. Overall: pretty good.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of cocoa nibs and vanilla beans and cocoa nibs, and a soft roasty palate. Flavour is a bit uncoordinated, with cocoa nibs, subtle vanilla, and some earthy roast. A bit jumbled but pleasant.

Can. Dark brown. No head. There's a little smokey, meaty aspect to the aroma, with light chocolate. On the palate, it has more of that meaty aspect. The base seems relatively light for its size, very low carb and slick. I'm not getting a ton of complexity on this, maybe light vanilla.

Dark brown, thin head. Nice and thick, good coconut taste, some decent brown sugar notes. Not holding up to the coconut mega devil'�s teeth I had the other day but it'�s solid.

Dark brown, medium head. Lots of sticky sugars. But lighter than many of this type. Big barrel, it'�s tasty but not super refined. Mid-grade.

Dark brown, thin head. Has a nice chocolate note, moderate richness, a little coconut in there, too.

Dark brown. Sweet, lots of vanilla, very sweet, a bit simple but not bad, some brownie fudge stuff too.

Has some bitterness, a bit weedy, astringent, not the brightest hop character.

Hazy, pale, thin head. Light sort of sticky malts, not a ton of hop. Creamed corn stuff. This misses.
From backlog. Taster, from Can, at a big share in Oslo. Black with little head. Roasted Malts, coffee, marshmallow, Chocolate, some oak.
