Keg at Olgod - BCN. Pours black-brown with a tight, lasting foamy beige head. Nice throwback gear. Super rich dark malts, some oak, coffee, torched wood, cocoa, raisins. Full bodied, lightly oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, light sticky burnt sugars, more rounded dark malts, burnt wood, dried dark fruits. Outstanding.

On tap at lgod Craft Beer Bar, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out lots of rum barrels and medium roast — interesting aromatics. Flavour is intense, with very complex rum barrels, medium roasted malt, and a hint of liquorice. The rum barrel blend is pretty assertive, packing some serious heat without being too abrasive. Really nice.

Backlog May 2017. Unclear golden body under a big, creamy off-white head. A bit mild aroma, mostly malt. Taste is sweet malt, slightly harsh bitterness and Belgium yeast. Balanced body and same aftertaste. Might be closer to a Triple than Saison, but who cares? Decent and food friendly.

33cl bottle from beerbay.net, Spain. Pours dark brown, almost black, with fine brown foam. Aroma is coffee and chocolate, vanilla. Body is average, smooth, with soft carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet, moderating the roastiness. Final is short, weaker than expected.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20211123) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, spiciness, sweet malty bread and molasses. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, molasses, dark chocolate, spiciness, spearmint, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, burnt and bitter. An interesting spicy brew with burnt notes.

THT. Thanks to Potje/Opa! Unclear golden with little white ring. Tart coconut water, some lemon, malt, hay. Pretty pleasant, but gald to split in 9. 😅😛

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Fruity nose with cherries, blood-orange, lime, honey, rye bread and almonds. Fruity, tart taste with notes of cherries, citrus, blood-orange, a touch of almonds and a dry and tart finish. Hardly any bitterness. Light body, dry. Tasty and refreshing, but a bit one-dimensional and with a slight harshness to the acidity. Quite enjoyable.
