Sample at the Corsair Distillery & Taproom. Clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Apple, ginger and wheat in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart apple, cinnamon and ginger. The finish is fruity with a spiced apple aftertaste. Decent overall.

Undated pint can > IPA glass A: Poured a 1" beige head atop a very hazy pineapple juice looking body. I’m not a fan of this. Decent head retention and spotty lace. S: Fruity with tropical notes of grapefruit, pineapple and peach. T: Puckering bitter citrus flavors starting with pith, ending with lemon juice. Light hint of wheat. M: Smooth textured with average level of fine carbonation. Clean finish. O: Actually pretty good once I get past the pond water appearance. Points for no dating.

Pour is a clear yellow with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet lager malt and some type of bittering hop. Flavor is clean lager malt with some adjunct, not corn but there is some type of filler in here. Not much of a hop presence except for bitterness. This was just ok. It is refreshing but not very hoppy.

Undated pint can > pilsner glass. A: Clear pale straw color with a loose bubbly 1/2 head that fell quickly to a thin film. Active bubbles visible. S: Light scent of crackers, lemon and grass. T: Citrus zest hits first followed by wood and hop resin. Dry with a bit of lemon oil aftertaste. M: Light and thin with lively carbonation and mildly resinous finish. O: Pretty nice tasting pils. Hoppy as advertised but not overdone. Nice dry flavor with no cloying sweetness. Expensive though, plus points off for no dating.
