Can thanks to weeheavysd...Pours with a large, creamy, off-white head, good lace. Clear sunset colored golden body. Aroma of fine sticky toffee, pine hops and butterscotch. Taste is smooth with caramel and sweetness, light hops and a slight roasted finish. Very easy to drink. Light bubbles and a water like mouthfeel.

Sampled at Toronado 2009 Barleywine Festival. Pours deep clear copper with gold edges and persistent thin tan head. The aroma has a decidedly sugar roast malt character with dark fruity esters in the back. I also get a mild chemical alcohol note that is only slightly distracting. The flavor has an initial pulse of lightly roast malts mixing with a sugary sweet maltiness before the dark fruity esters join in. It has a pretty smooth flavor but struggles to hide the alcohol and makes for a bit of a rough finish.

can. 5.2% abv Pours hazy golden with thick white head. Can has a few months aging. The overall beer turned out to be quite a good surprise. Aroma watermelon with faint notes of nutty/caramel malts Taste, wheat and watermelon, possible light chocolate/caramel malts with a vanilla like touch and very faint bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink, watermelon is there but not overpowering the beer.

Tap at Bistro DIPA festival. Brilliant gold amber color with a huge foamy white head. Massive resin aroma. Flavor is really hoppy floral/resin/citrus with a lot of smooth malt backing. Much more floral than bitter. Superb.

Belgian Single. Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Yeast and light malt aroma. Bready, light malt flavor with yeast and a bit of spice. Medium bodied. Breadiness lingers with light malt and light yeast. Just enough malt to back and keep the body from being light.
