0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before May 2024. Clear, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity, minimally grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, raisins and some leaves. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a little fruity taste of caramel, grains, nuts, leaves and a touch of raisins, followed by a short, quite bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Alt, nowhere near the top examples from D'dorf though.

Very dark brown with an off-white creamy head. Dark caramel and malt aroma with dried fruits and molasses. Sweet taste with a long bittersweet finish. Very Belgian in all aspects.

7 3 7 3 15Bottle at De Paas featuring a really nice label of a happy knight along with an admiral drinking beer. I can’t help but feel a connection, it’s a Friday afternoon after work, I have a beer and am feeling pretty damn good about that too. The beer itself is a clear dark amber with a cream coloured head. Aroma of caramel, malt, yeast and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Like the label, it makes me happy enough.
