Pours a hazy orange amber colour with a small frothy off-white head. The aroma is light, grainy malts, yeasty and citrus. A moderately sweet taste, sweet malts, hints of citrus, spice and yeast. Creamy mouthfeel with a mild bitterness.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-fading tan head, about a centimetre tall at first and fades to just about nothing a few seconds later. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, nuts, earth, grain and some light raisins - very odd, and very light smelling aside from the earth, which is pungent. Light-bodied; Strong black-tea like notes with some earth and grain noticeable along with a dry yeast and bready bite, but little else in terms of flavours or profile. Aftertaste is mild, very light, dry, earthy and nutty with a crisp bite, but not much here aside from the bitterness and pungent grainy notes, no real sweetness at all or body. Overall, not such a great beer and way too thin and mellow to be good for the style, plus the complexity is lacking without any real depth of flavours. Nice enough to try from a non-local brewery, but if you are looking for a dunkles, this is not the right option. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Cary (Crossroads Boulevard), North Carolina on 30-May-2021 for US$4,29 sampled in my hotel room here in Chincoteague, Virginia on 11-June-2021.

Big pounder yellow and orange can courtesy of my kids. It pours as pictured with a clear pale ale eye on my retina. The smell is that of a hauntingly wild olfactory, yah-no, its like mildly fruited vinegar, heheheh. Taste is rather pleasant, fun, easy; but there is just a tad of hops, or is that vanilla, so confusing. Either way it taste pretty good. No real ill nor nasty character. I know it goes down pretty easy cause I'm almost done with the can. You know, in addition to the fruits listed, I get the feeling there is some strawberry in there lurking behind the trees in the finish. There, you have it; a decent pound of good, wild & sour fruit beer. Well, I'm hoping its wild, but probably not. Go figger, need to find out what is the legal def of wild beer; blah, blah, blah.

Copper color with a sweet and malty aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt to start with a dry floral hop finish. A slight wood and earthy flavor. Mild bitterness at the end.

10 day old pint can A: Poured finely hazed pale gold with a short lasting white head. S: Muted scent of lightly sweet bread dough, sharp citrus and tropical or melon notes. T: Sharply tart and lightly bitter lemon lime citrus mingles with toasty biscuit malts that bring low balancing sweetness. Grassy ending. M: Crisp, light bodied, clean and slightly dry. Highly refreshing. O: Pretty simple, quite tasty and tasteful. Not hopped all to hell but certainly hop forward. A very nice warm weather crusher.

Aromas in the can were intense almost floral berries mellowing out a lot in the glass to Some berry and straw. Flavors are like nose, pretty dry with barrist hint of sweet mainly in the finish. Good carbonation but a little on the thin side. Drinkable tart berry beer but kind of generic.

You're almost are kind of mellow citrus hops with a hint of resin and some pale malt. Flavors are a lot better, similar to nose, but add in some tropical fruit, dry grain, mildly sweet upfront with good carbonation and low bitter to balance. Excellent body and finish. Very nice beer.

Not bad but a touch bitter and maybe some black patent in there as I seem to pick up a little molasses.
