Description
603 Brewery was founded in 2012 by long time college friends. As home brewers, who met while studying engineering, they set out to design high quality, hand crafted beers. As demand for the beers increased, the vision to launch a microbrewery was developed. With a focus on quality and versatility, our hand crafted beer is brewed using the finest ingredients in small batches.

Merland's Tap and Table draught, 6/6/26.
Not a huge nose; maybe some light yeast, sponge cake and lemon. But clean enough.
Similar in flavor. A bit bland with more texture than flavor. But there's enough bitterness, with a lemony flavor and lots of white bread character. Kept waiting for the flavors to deepen/intensify, as it warmed, but they never did. Herbs and lemon lingering. At least it's not thin/watery.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark amber to red color with a finger and a half foamy white head, fairly quick dissipation but left some mild lace
Aroma: some citrusy hops; lighter dose of piney hops; clean caramel/toffee malts, light nuts, subtle toast
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together fairly bittersweet; mild aftertaste of citrusy hops and roasted nuts
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; fairly smooth on my tongue; finishes semi-crisp with a citrusy to earthy appeal
Overall: it's a decent amber ale, maybe again - throw some cans in the bag to go fishing and that'll be a good day.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: glossy to murky orange coloring with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light messy lace
Aroma: some citrusy to lemony to orangey hoppiness with subtle clean malts in the back
Flavor: starts bitter then becomes bittersweet through the prior noted aromas; clean aftertaste of the citrusy hops
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness on the tongue but some astringent vibes; finishes citrusy and malty
Overall: it's not a bad little beer, but then again, it's nothing that'll knock your socks off, might be a good one for fishing or out by my grill.

On tap at Grazer's, Williston, Vermont.
Appearance: dark brown color with a bar pour's kind of head which swiftly fell off to leave some light concave lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, authentic coconut, subtle sweet wafer/pastry/doughy character
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas to a nice sweet and roasty tone; no aftertaste
Texture: medium to full bodied; between being sessionable and being a sipper; good smoothness on the tongue; finishes milk chocolatey with the coconut
Overall: I was kinda hoping for a "cookie batter" thing to happen but it came across more like a sweet wafer/pastry/doughy thing. Other than that, this isn't a bad beer, I think I could come back to.

Overall: not a bad beer but probably not one of their best beers. maybe again.

Can to mug.
Appearance: dark brown color with a three finger off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: toasted nuts, caramel/toffee malts, subtle cocoa powder and a super earthy dry coffee bean whiff, light earthy/grassy hops underneath
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas roasty clean and toasty, some earthy dry tastes pop in underneath; mild aftertaste of nuts, coffee and clean earthiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, slightly sessionable but seemingly wanting to be a sipper perhaps; fairly dry along the tongue; finishes dry and earthy with strong coffee vibe
Overall: a coffee forward brown ale and not a bad partaking from this brewery, I think I could come back to this.

Appearance: murky semi-dark copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy hoppy, light apricot; clean caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: bittersweet running through the prior noted aromas; light aftertaste of citrus and clean malts
Texture: between light to medium bodied, some kind of sessionability about it; some smoothness but also some hop abrasion on tongue; finishes citrusy and with the apricots and malts
Overall: I don't see this as a true NE styled IPA but it's not a bad beer altogether.

Aroma: citrusy hoppiness up front with some melon then a clean malt ordeal
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas together fairly tight through a bittersweet vibe; mild aftertaste of citrusy hop tones
Texture: medium bodied, some sessionability about this one; somewhat stiff hoppiness clinging to my tongue; finishes citrusy with the malts
Overall: seems a bit old school, not a bad IPA and maybe one for me to come back to.
