16oz can pours a hazy orange with some sudsy, fluffy white head. Nose is OK, big with pith and C hops, some paper, soap, some grist. Flavor is harsh with citrus pith and sort of stale orange juice, spruce, soap, paper. Finishes with some harsh astringency.

473ml can. Pours clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, wood, booze, caramel. Taste is malt, caramel, peat notes, wood, alcohol. Good.

Tap. Pours clear golden orange, small off white head, good lacing. Aroma is super light, grass and pine. Flavor is light sweet,, light plus bitter, very subdued flavor profile, pine, a bit soapy. Light body. Not exciting.

Tap. Pours clear orange, Medium white head, great lacing. Aroma is nutty, malty, toasty, toffee. Flavors is medium sweet, light bitter, caramel and toffee, hints of Noble hop. Medium light body. Quite good.

Cannette 473 ml. La levure lager est en combinaison avec des houblons odorants en olfactif. Notes de grains, de pain, de résineux et un petit coté herbacé frais. De couleur blonde traditionnelle, légèrement voilée, développant une mousse un doigt assez persistante, et laissant de superbes traces sur le verre. En bouche, sa base lager est en évidence avec ses tons de levure et son coté granuleux d’écorce de grain. Mais aussi, elle donne une bonne place au houblonnage à caractère résineux et herbacé avec ses notes de pin et d’herbes fraiches. Perception également de pain toasté. Son amertume est franche et longue, sans trop être agressive. Cette bière offre une combinaison parfaite d’une bonne IPA traditionnelle sur une base lager parfaitement en évidence. Moi qui adore les deux mondes, je suis conquis.
