Pint can. Pours a hazy dark 24k gold color with a fair sized white head that has good retention and crazy lacing. The aroma is medium in strength with sweet biscuits, cookies, and a bit of grapefruit citrus. The taste, like the aroma, is sweet malts, grapefruit, cookies and a bit of bitter grapefruit. The palate is light and crisp with lively carbonation. Finishes long and semi-sweet. Overall: Decent brew I very much enjoyed it--but I never would have guessed this was Kellerbier. Paired well with some north sea cheese (Nordseekase).

Quite herbal and woody, with a healthy dose of floral bitterness underneath. Notes of yeast, sweet grain, and a touch of apple. Finishes with a clingy bitter streak. Nose is on the metallic side. Good, not great.

Honey, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with nice head. Lightly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Light body.

16 oz can from City Brew Tours Hanukkah box, night 6, 12/30/24. Pours a clear rusty orange color with a beige head and fairly strong lace. Bready and caramel malts. A little molasses, brown sugar notes, and some light spice as well. Mostly grainy malt flavor. Clean and very drinkable. Tingly feel. Somewhat dry finish. Pretty good. 7/4/7/4/15

Clear, muted bronze-copper. Small-to-medium-sized, creamy, off-white head.
Very, very hoppy as I'm pouring it. Concerningly so, despite it being an IPL. Just seems like it's going to be very aggressively hopped even for the style. A bit raw and maybe it needed more time, though I'm guessing it's at least a month old if not more. Deep, bready malts do help balance somewhat.
Smoke? Pepper? Something like that up front, with big bread notes, sweet, rich malts and, actually, not all that aggressively hopped. More flavor with a surprisingly low bitterness. The maltiness is soft, supple, comforting, but I can't get a great sense of the hops. Dried herbs, vegetal...something to that effect. Clean and fairly balanced, just not really in love with the flavor profile.

Lukr, Three Penny, 12/19/24. Dark, probably clear. Big, grey-tan head, creamy. Rich cocoa, mineral, light hop spice and caramel. Very malty, clean, not over toasted/roasted. Soft, rich, butter toffee, milk chocolate, deep malts, moderate hop bitterness and high attenuation. Wonderful amount of base malt and hop to balance a delectably rich maltiness. Super low roast, wow. Just pure chocolate and caramel...
