Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty vanilla chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate vanilla flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate vanilla finish.

Growlette from Winooski Beverage.
This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a dark hazy burnt orange color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. No lacing.
The aroma is all around a ton of berries - elder, black, rasp, blue, yeah, you name it, I think they put it all in. Tart with a nice authentic sweetness.
The flavor takes on all of the tart and the sweet with the berries coming all about authentically. Balances the tart to the sweet nicely in the aftertaste. Leads refreshingly in the finish.
On the palate, this one sat light on the body with a crushability worthy of slamming an entire 64 oz growler perhaps within an hour. Yes, there’s practically no weight to this beer.
Overall, damn nice fruit beer, hell yeah, I would have this again, even if it could be considered a girly beer, well, this is one quite flavorful fruit beer.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy burnt orange color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Not as much lacing, but that’s okay, I think I get the rest of this beer.
The aroma has a good use of spicy Belgian grassy to semi-oily, low herbal, sly hay, and then floral underneath.
The flavor leans spicy with a nice sweet underneath. Balances extremely nice between the spice and the sweet. Breadiness is somewhat there. Mainly spicy aftertaste sliding into the finish nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Crisp with a nice kick of the spice hitting against the carbonation. Semi-smooth.
Overall, wow, uh...I didn’t know Idletyme had it in them. I always thought they made average to mostly good beers, but this beer is probably their best to date! Everything just came together exceptional for the style and for my palate!

Poured into an English pub glass, the appearance was a dark brown color with a lasting finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head. Dissipation left at a good pace. Some moderate thin to semi-thick lacing clung and spider webbed in a good way.
The aroma started off with the vanilla bean up front, light and dry with a roasted coffee bean edge. Subtle milk chocolate.
The flavor takes the vanilla sweetness to round out nicely with the roasty coffee. Milk chocolate falls in deeper. Smooth sweet and roasty aftertaste, dry roasty smooth finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation hits just right leaving no stone left unturned in a damn nice smoothness rolling across my tongue.
Overall, really nice porter that I could have again. Everything fits!
